Background
Until Captain Alaborap came along, Murray Scots lived a relatively normal life working the docks at Smith’s Pointe as an on-call ship mechanic from the age of sixteen. He operated out of his father’s scrapyard for twenty-nine years. When his father passed, Murray sold the scrapyard and retired from manual labor, but got bored at home and took up prowling the dockyard bars and taverns.

One day he ran into Glygorg, an old mate who used to frequent Scots’ Scraps. The Fallamon needed to find a pilot for a pirate endeavor with a young captain. It didn’t take much convincing for Murray to sign up after he heard about the young Captain Smith.
